Research interests: Understanding the mechanisms that control gene expression during vertebrate development; Spatial information that controls specification of body regions, understanding: gene transfer into mice, transcriptional profiling in both mice and pigs, genome mapping and analysis; and developing new gene transfer and analysis methods to understand global patterns of gene expression.

Some of her ongoing projects are: (i) Change Detection and Changed Parameter Estimation using Particle Filters, (ii) Landmark Shape Dynamical Models and Activity Recognition and (iii) Particle Filtering for Tracking Moving and Deforming Objects. She has also worked on subspace methods for image and video classification.
